Tested with UE4 vrs. 4.20.1
This is a basic Unreal Engine 4 blueprint system where the player can press E while jumping in order to ground pound – you know, almost like the ground pound in Super Mario.
The impact will shatter any destructible meshes within the set impact radius:
In order to make it easier to use, the variables for the ground pound impact, radius impact, sound effect and particle system can be easily changed straight from the editor. That way, you don’t need to go into the third person player character blueprints to make quick changes to these variables:
However, if you’re going to change more major functions and/or include the functionality in your own project, surely you’ll need to dive into the blueprint code and make it work for your specific purpose.
